Bacon Cole Slaw

Ingredients

1 Cup - Mayonnaise (I prefer Miracle Whip)
1/3 Cup - Milk
1/3 Cup - Buttermilk ( some just use milk, adding this helps it come out more creamier)
1 1/2 Tblspoon - White Vinegar
2 Tblspoon - Lemon Juice
1/3 Cup - Granulated Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon - Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon - Seasoned Salt
1/2 Teaspoon - Black Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon - Celery Seeds
4 - Bacon Strips (Please do not use Bacon Bits it wouldn't taste the same)
1 bag - Cole Slaw mix vegetables (I haven't gotten around to making my own veg mix yet, but when I do you can assure i will replace this with those ingredients.)
note* This makes about 5 servings so if you are doing this for a cookout or something with a lot of people, you would obviously have to make more. Just remember, for every bag you are making you have to add that much more of each ingredient i.e. 2 bags = 2 cups of mayo, 2/3 cup milk etc.

Preparations

First, we will start with the bacon. Cook them in a skillet until they START to turn crispy, the bacon will still be hot and continue to cook even when you take them off the skillet so you don't want to take them out when they are dark. Set the bacon aside and start on your dressing. In a large mixing bowl, add the mayo, milk, buttermilk, white vinegar, and lemon juice, whisk until smooth. Then add the rest of your ingredients and whisk again until evenly proportioned. Be careful on the celery seeds as they are very potent, you don't want the dressing to be overpowered with celery flavor so even slightly less than 1/2 Teaspoon of celery seeds would be a good idea. Once your dressing is mixed, use a knife to cut the bacon into small pieces and mix that into the dressing as well as some of the bacon grease from the skillet (this helps distribute more bacon flavor into the dressing). Finally, add the cole slaw veg mix, and toss until evenly mixed with the dressing and their are no dry veggies. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours and serve.
