Ingredients
1/2 Cup - Butter or Margarine (1 stick, cut into small squares)
1/3 Cup - Parmesan Cheese
1/4 Cup - Sargento 6 Cheese Italian Blend
1 8oz. Pkg - Philadelphia Cream Cheese (cut into small squares)
1 Cup - Half and Half Milk
1 Tblspoon - Garlic Powder
1 Tblspoon - Parsley
1 Tspoon - Black Pepper
Preparations
I call this my "6 Cheese Alfredo Sauce", it is really easy and takes about 10 minutes. In a medium saucepan on medium heat, melt the butter. Start adding in the Cream Cheese chunks and stir frequently. Once Cream Cheese is melted and mixed well with the butter, add the half and half milk, while continuing to stir. It should have a nice off white color and look soupy. Add in the Parmesan and 6 cheese blend, mix well so that the cheese melts and is evenly distributed throughout the sauce (stirring frequently will ensure that the cheese doesn't string up in the sauce). Add your Parsley, Garlic Powder, and Black Pepper, and yes.... stir some more! Once all of the ingredients are in the saucepan and well blended, set the heat to low and let simmer for about 3 minutes. While it is simmering, stir, stir, and stir again. Now your Homemade Alfredo Sauce is complete, cook up some fettuccine noodles and some chicken, throw in some tomato and/or broccoli and you have yourself an amazing Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo that is better than store bought :)
